Michelle Keegan has admitted that she would love to star in more sex scenes after filming her first one for the new series of ITV2’s Plebs.

The former Corrie star will set pulses racing by playing a brazen Vestal Virgin called Ursula in series three of the Bafta-nominated comedy set in Ancient Rome.

The racy Ursula asks Joel Fry’s character Stylax whether he wants to “f*** in the cloister”, and she then causes havoc by accidentally extinguishing the sacred flame during their romp.

Keegan though expressed her delight at the scene hinting at more in the future.

She told The Sun: “It was fine, actually. I was playing it with Joel and he was so lovely. It was one of the first scenes we did. It was nerve-racking but he was so relaxed and calm that it helped me.”

“Then afterwards I was like, ‘Is that it?’”

“It was really nothing to be bothered about. Now I can say I’ve been in a sex scene and it was actually quite fun.”

“I certainly wouldn’t mind doing it again if it was a role like that. I wouldn’t be as nervous.”

Former Corrie star Keegan also revealed she is keen to do more comedies after relishing her role in Plebs, which airs on ITV2 on April 4.
