Kate Hudson is spilling the beans on celebrity dating. The actress was recently on The Ellen Show to discuss her affordable sports wear line Fabletics. Ellen slyly brought up her relationship status, and the conversation turned to tinder, and other hook up hubs.
Ellen inquired as to whether the single Hudson would ever consider creating an online profile to test the waters. She stated she couldn’t though other stars do partake in a swipe or two. “What’s crazy is that there’s a lot of, you know, celebrity types on these dating apps, which kind of makes you go, maybe… no. I can’t imagine,” she said.
Kate then went on to bemoan the way relationships are formed these days, observing what her friends endure in the digital dating world.
“Like, all your girlfriends seem to maybe go to lunch and then it’s like, ‘what happened to that guy you met on Raya or Bumble and whatever else?’
Instead, Hudson favours the old-school meet up and wonders why men don’t approach women and have a chat the way they used to. “I just think, why don’t you just meet a guy in Starbucks? Why don’t you just go up to someone and why doesn’t a guy have the guts to come up and say, ‘Hey, I’m so-and-so. How about we hang out?’” Kate said. “Maybe I’m old school, but I’m alright.”
We’d say you’re more than alright Kate, but know that “if you ever get lonely, just go to the record store and visit your friends.”
