Watch This YouTuber Explain How To Build Your Very Own Flamethrower

Now you can follow in the footsteps of Elon Musk.

A flamethrower in action.

Elon Musk is man known for many things; blasting his car into space, developing ambitious plans for colonies on Mars and looking a bit like Duncan James from the boyband Blue.

But one thing Musk has been associated more with in recent times is flamethrowers.

For reasons unknown, Musk has been selling flamethrowers through The Boring Company and it’s been going well – he already made $5 million off initial sales alone.

It’s an odd move but one that appears to have been embraced by the wider public.

So much so that the team behind the “So I Had This Idea…” YouTube channel decided to go ahead and have a go at building their very own flamethrower.

It’s actually way easier than you think too, with the clip serving as an instructional video on how to build your very own flamethrower.

Which definitely won’t come back to bite us, you or anyone else for that matter. No way.

But with all 20,000 of Musk’s flamethrowers already sold out in the space of just four days, this is pretty much the only way you are going to get your hands on this kind of kit.

Follow these instructions and you might end up saving yourself a bit of cash though – $272, to be precise, when compared to the standard Boring Company flamethrower’s price.

It’s not super, super easy to put together, of course. You’ll need to know your way around a tool shed and some patience is definitely required.

Sigourney Weaver in Aliens.

But if you’ve ever imagined yourself wielding a flamethrower like Kurt Russell in The Thing or Sigourney Weaver in Aliens, then this is the instructional video for you.

Alternatively, you could just watch one of those films on the TV and leave all that dangerous, highly flammable, stuff to the experts. Or just ignore us.
