Sweating. Everyone does it and usually at the most inopportune times.
loaded isn’t talking about the kind of sweat generated down the gym but rather the sweat that breaks out as the average working day develops.
For years, people everywhere have attempted to combat the problem with any number of deodorants or anti-perspirants that promise to eradicate the issue altogether.
However, one many may not realise is that, when it comes to the sweaty stuff, are arm pits and upper torso may not be the problem.
No, in 2016, there is a far greater area of concern for all the sweaty types out there – feet.
What many may not realise is that the average person’s sweat glands are more concentrated on their feet than on any other part of the body.
“Did you know the foot has 250,000 sweat glands”
Worse still, Carnation Footcare estimates that around one in every two people suffer from foot odour, which is only exacerbated through activities like walking, exercise and even just becoming nervous.
That’s not the only crazy part though.
Podiatrist Dave Wain puts it in terms we can all understand – pub measurements.
“Did you know the foot has 250,000 sweat glands, which can produce up to a pint of sweat per day!” he explains.
No Dave, but all of a sudden that lunch time beer is looking a whole less appealing.
In a bid to combat the issue, Carnation Footcare has come up with its own “smellution” a range of shoe deodoriser pouches which are designed to absorb moisture and can be used for up to a year.
Will the concept take off? With celebrities like Pharrell Williams already among the websites happy customers, the future is smelling bright.
