Linda McMahon, the wife of WWE owner Vince McMahon and a woman once hit with a ‘Stone Cold’ stunner by the legendary Steve Austin, is heading to the Oval Office.
Once an executive at WWE, McMahon was this week voted in as the head of the Small Business Administration by The Senate.
The move will see her reunite with WWE hall of famer Donald Trump in a move few could have predicted, and one that could yet result in the weirdest tag team match-up of all time.
Linda first came to prominence during a stint in the world of wrestling, where she featured in several storylines alongside husband Vince.
In one of these, she took to the ring to inform her other half that she was seeking a divorce in one segment while in another she famously landed a blow to Vince’s nuts.
Since 2009, however, Linda has been busy attempted to break into the world of politics and has left her nut-cracking past behind her.
In 2009 she ran an unsuccessful bid for the Senate in Connecticut. She ran again in 2012, losing again to Democrat Chris Murphy.
But there’s no stopping her now with McMahon set to play a key role in Trump’s new government.
She’s not the first wrestler to enter the world of politics.
Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura was previously elected the Governor of Minnesota while fellow legend Booker T recently announced his intentions to run for office.
