Video: watch Conor McGregor’s UFC197 press conference in full

UFC’s biggest stars assemble at the MGM Grand ahead of their title bouts.

Four of the biggest names in MMA will assemble in Las Vegas this week ahead of March’s title showdowns at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The press conference for UFC 197 will see featherweight champion Conor McGregor come face-to-face with Brazilian brawler Rafael dos Anjos before they contest the lightweight championship.

Loaded will bring you the the entire press conference live from the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Vegas. The stream will be viewable in the YouTube player above from Wednesday, January 20 at 7pm UK time (11am PT, 2pm ET).

McGregor is looking to make UFC history by becoming the first man to hold belts in two different weight divisions.

After his 13-second demolition of José Aldo – the fastest UFC championship victory of all time – all eyes will be on McGregor to see if he can keep his unstoppable momentum going.

‘The Notorious’ is readying himself for the fight by getting a hard-as-nails shaved head. Clearly this is a man who means business.

In the women’s bantamweight, Holly Holm will defend her world title for the first time after her shock defeat of Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 last December.

Her opponent is the second-ranked Miesha Tate. Pundits have debated if Tate is the right match for Holm, with many saying she should’ve waited for an immediate rematch with Rousey.

UFC President Dana White, who’ll also be present at the press conference, ruled that out saying Rousey’s busy Hollywood filming schedule makes another bout difficult to bring together.

Tate is no slouch, though. She’s in the middle of an impressive four-fight winning streak having dispatched Liz Carmouche, Rin Nakai, Sara McMann and Jessica Eye in the space of a whirlwind 15 months.

UFC 197 will take place on Saturday, March 5 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
