Arsene Wenger is under his annual pressure from fans after Arsenal’s regular title collapse, this time in even more comedic fashion than usual at home to Swansea.

The Swans’ 2-1 victory at the Emirates was Arsenal’s third consecutive defeat and leaves them six Leicester, who decisively drew away from the pack with their 2-2 draw at home to West Brom.

Wenger came under fire from several supporters outside the ground who were angry at the substitution of Joel Campbell. The Costa Rica international had opened the scoring.

The supporters voiced their frustrations via the YouTube fan channel Arsenal TV.

One supporter’s impassioned rant set the tone, literally foaming at the mouth as he claimed Wenger was past his sell-by date.

Unhappy Arsenal fans Arsenal TV interviewed the fans after the game.

Many fans who had previously backed Wenger also turned on the Gunners boss.

Wenger is the most successful manager in the history of the FA Cup, having guided them to successive wins in the final over Hull and Aston Villa and with a chance of reaching the quarter-finals this year too when they face Hull in a replay next week.

But those two FA Cup wins are Wenger’s only trophies since 2005, though as Wenger often claims finishing fourth to qualify for the Champions League is “like winning a trophy”.

One fan who’s turned against the French prophet is Storage Hunters UK star Heavy D, who has developed a side business in spouting unrealistically optimistic viewpoints on Arsenal alongside his normal gig on Dave.

Having previously claimed they’d beat Barcelona in the Champions League, most expected The D to offer some kind of silver lining here.

However, Heavy D was close to tears, having “given up” on Wenger.

When a man who buys old tat from storage containers in Milton Keynes has lost hope, it might finally be time for the Frenchman to consider his own future.
