Kelly Rohrbach, the actress replacing Pamela Anderson in the upcoming Baywatch film, has recreated Pammie’s infamous beach run.

The video, part of a Harpers Bazaar photoshoot, is the first time everyone can judge whether Rohrbach really is up to the task of playing one of the most demanding acting roles around as beach guard CJ.

Rohrbach has rocketed to success since making her Sports Illustrated debut as its Rookie Of The Year in 2015. The 26-year-old has also starred in Two And A Half Men, The P.E.T. Squad Files and Rizzoli & Isles, as well as an as-yet-untitled Woody Allen film due later this year.

Rohrbach told Harpers Bazaar: “CJ is such an iconic role. It’s a great crew, fun cast and something I’ve been really excited to be a part of. I know it’s going to be a really fun movie.”

And she looks like she’s taking to it like a duck to water.

The fact Rohrbach is settling into Anderson’s costume so easily may be because she’s been a Baywatch fan since she first watched the show as a 10-year-old.

She said: “It was mine and my sisters’ show. We’d wait for our parents to go out on Saturday nights, because they thought it was too risque. As soon as they were gone, we’d be in front of the TV, just sucking our thumbs with our blankies, watching babes like Pam Anderson run down the beach.”

Rohrbach was announced to be filling Anderson’s swimsuit last month, with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson taking to social media to ensure fans he’d “make sure Rohrbach was ridiculously sexy running in slo-mo”.

With comments like that, The Rock will be an ideal replacement for David Hasselhoff when he pours himself into his trunks as lifeguard Mitch.

As well as Rohrbach and Johnson, other stars in the film include Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Ilfanesh Hadera and Priyanka Chopra. It’s out in cinemas in 2017.
