Muhammad Ali once proclaimed that “Champions aren’t made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision.”
The boxing icon obviously never met former WWE Divas legend Torrie Wilson.
A veteran of both WCW and WWE, in her time Wilson wowed wrestling fans the world over with a combination of her killer looks, stunning physique and in-the-ring ability.
Having moved out to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career in 1998, Wilson was thrust into the limelight after attending a WCW show with her boyfriend.
Taken backstage, Wilson was soon turning heads. Asked to accompany Scott Steiner to the ring, she soon caught the eye of fellow grappler Kevin Nash, who asked management if he could do a storyline with her.
A wrestling career spanning close to a decade followed, with Wilson’s growing in confidence and stature in the industry with every year.
Yet for all her endeavours, the one thing missing for Wilson was a title belt – her only notable accomplishment in that respect came in 2002 when she was handed the rather ill-advised Golden Thong Award.
Having left the WWE in 2008, Wilson’s post-wrestling career including an appearance on the 2009 edition of I’m A Celebrity…Get Met Out of Here! where she finished runner-up to Lou Diamond Phillips.
Abs are NOT just made in the kitchen. I don't care what anyone says, my personal experience has showed me that they are heavily made in your workouts. Yes, a healthy diet is important..but when you workout like you mean business ( an hour a day is plenty! ) – you can actually EAT. Yes, carbs included. The trick here is that ONLY YOU really know how much you are truly giving to those workouts. Don't cheat yourself. _________________________________________________Signup & workout with me FOR FREE at TorrieWilsonFit.com. And while she may have missed out on the WWE Women’s Title during her time in the ring, these days she’s got something much more valuable around her waist – killer abs.
