The man who, for many, is skateboarding completed one of his most epic moves – at the grand old age of 48.
Tony Hawk executed a jaw-dropping ‘900’ trick 17 years to the day after completing his first at the age of 17.
The 900 skateboard trick is when you complete two and a half mid-air revolutions.
In a video for RIDE Channel, Hawk talks about his career to date.
He explained: “A lot has happened in my life since (the first 900). It’s been the craziest rollercoaster ride. It really was the apex of my competitive career.”
Hawk became known worldwide when he moved from skateboarding to his business ventures including releasing the popular video game Tony Hawk Pro Skater.
