Getting up in the morning is notoriously difficult during the week, but if you’re exhausted throughout the day too, well you might be doing it wrong.
According to a new study, here are the times you should go to bed to wake up refreshed.
If you need to rise at 7 AM, the best times to fall asleep are:
9:46pm OR 11:16pm.
For a fresh 6 am wake up, you’re looking at a bedtime of 8:46 pm, 10:16 pm, 11:46 pm or if you’re burning the midnight oil 1:16 am.
Blinds company, blinds.com created a sleep calculator to accurately decode when the optimum time to fall asleep is if you want to wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7 am.
It turns out it has less to do with the amount of time but more your sleep cycle, meaning you can sleep for a mere five hours but once it’s within a particular period you should manage fine upon waking. Usually, the average sleeper will snooze in five or six cycles which last roughly 90 minutes. The idea is to wake up between a cycle to wake up happy as a clam.
Give it a try, see if you can “get the worm” like a champ in the morning.
