Wayne’s World became one of the most original comedies of recent times when it was released in 1992, and it’s still fondly regarded as a cult favourite among many film fans.
Mike Myers played the film’s the titular character, but the film was also notable for the performance of Tia Carrere.
The actress made a big impact as rock chick Cassandra in the comedy, and the film was the first to make her a star.
Tia, who also celebrated her 50th birthday this month, looked as stunning as ever when she stepped out for a 25th anniversary panel for Wayne’s World this week.
The actress attended the event in Los Angeles with her her 11-year-old daughter Bianca Wakelin.
Tia stole the show at the red carpet even, and looks just as striking a quarter of a century after Wayne’s World. Excellent!
As well as Wayne’s World, Tia starred in the Relic Hunter TV series between 1999 and 2002 and also starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in James Cameron’s 1994 blockbuster True Lies.
In more recent times, she’s appeared in Hawaii Five-0, and gave a voice performance in an episode of Family Guy last year.
