WWE superstar The Undertaker made a rare appearance in his full wrestling attire yesterday at an NBA match between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks.

This effectively puts an end to the speculation that wrestling fans may have seen the last of him.

It had recently been revealed that the former WWE champion had undergone hip surgery after being spotted walking around on crutches.

The speculation had been beginning to point towards the likelihood that The Undertaker, real name Mark Calaway, would be coming to an end of a wrestling career that’s spanned over three decades.

Undertaker was at the event on behalf of WWE to present Kevin Love with a replica championship belt and to greet some of the Cavaliers players. The Cavaliers won the 2016 NBA championship.

Aside from his traditional WrestleMania matches, Undertaker has appeared very infrequently on WWE programming over the past five years or so. This is most likely due to his body no longer being able to withstand the notoriously gruelling full-time WWE schedule.

However, the sight of Undertaker walking around comfortably will delight wrestling fans across the globe who will be expecting to see the veteran show up to continue his WrestleMania streak next year, which currently stands at 23-1.
