If you’re not sure about where to watch England this Saturday then give this a look.
The Thinking Drinkers made up of award-winning drinks writers and comedy performers Tom Sandham and Ben McFarland, took it upon themselves to review 2000 pubs across the UK and Ireland in order to find the best place to watch the football this summer.
The research was commissioned by Farah menswear #MatchReady campaign.
And ding, ding, ding the winner is The Water Poet in Spitalfields, London.
Described as the Joe Hart of pubs, a safe pair of hands and a City favourite’ the Water Poet boasts:
· Nine indoor and outdoor screens ensuring fans never miss a minute of the action
· Every televised EURO 2016 match will be screened indoors and outdoors
· A truly local and international collection of over 15 real ales, craft beers and lagers
· All-day barbeque and exquisite English sharing boards (the perfect halftime snack)
Tom Sandham of the Thinking Drinkers revealed about the pub: “Our research involved more than just counting the number of screens, we wanted to offer fans something different to the sports bar norm. The Water Poet is worthy of any style conscious fan and we know where we’ll be for the opening match.”
