This in memoriam mural is absolutely savage to Taylor Swift

In loving memory...

It’s not been a good week for Taylor Swift.

Sure, she may be loved-up with James Bond-in-waiting Tom Hiddleston, but her row with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West has blown up with the ferocity of a nuclear mushroom cloud.

A quick explainer for the uninitiated: West recorded the track famous containing the lyrics “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b*tch famous”; he asked for Swift’s blessing in a phone call; the song was released and Swift denied ever giving the all clear; Kim Kardashian released a Snapchat update video of Swift on a call with Kanye to discuss the controversial Famous lyrics.

A Taylor Swift backlash ensued, and the latest addition to it all is a brutal bit of wall art commentary suggesting that the world’s biggest pop star might be over.

Released on Instagram via Melbourne art feed Land of Sunshine it’s a pretty cruel takedown of Swift who, with millions of albums sold, critic and fan adulation and multiple Grammys, looked like she could do no wrong.

Fame is a fickle mistress, though. One minute you’re hot stuff, the next you’re toast.

Maybe it’s time Swift, Kardashian and Kanye buried the hatchet and put all this behind them – can’t we all just get along?
