Tara Reid and Jenny McCarthy insult each other in awkward interview

"Babe, we’re here to talk about Sharknado."

Awkward Tara Reid and Jenny McCarthy duelled in a feisty interview.

When Tara Reid wants to talk about Sharknado, you better talk about Sharknado.

Jenny McCarthy found this out the hard way while interviewing Reid on her SiriusXM radio show. The American Pie star immediately batted back a compliment from the host after she said she “fucking loved” Reid on reality show Marriage Boot Camp.

“It’s not worth the time to talk about it. There’s confusing things about it. We are not talking about it,” Reid said.

Undeterred, McCarthy pressed on with the Marriage Boot Camp questioning. For Reid, though, only great white sharks were on the agenda.

“Babe, I asked you, please let’s not talk about the show. We’re all here to talk about Sharknado,” she said.

McCarthy obliged, but the tension ramped up when Reid dismissed any idea of having to get in shape for Sharknado: The 4th Awakens.

“It’s not like you really need to get into shape; it’s Sharknado, they’re fake sharks,” Reid responded.

McCarthy, presumably in a desperate attempt to prise something, anything from Reid, went for broke and asked her about her history of plastic surgery.

“I haven’t had any surgery for a while Jenny,” Reid said. “I think I’ve made that clear, like, about 100 times. Maybe that’s because you only read the bad things, but I made that really clear for so many years, but read what you want to read.”

Reid then appeared to wind up the interview segment herself, saying: “It was really nice talking to you and really good luck with your show.

“I hope your tits get even nicer, because they’re amazing. The same guy who did mine, right? I’ll always use your advice. You’re the best. Bye.”

Whatever happens in Sharknado 4, chances are there won’t be quite much dramatic tension as this terse exchange.
