They do law-enforcement a little differently in Sweden.
One Scandinavian police officer conducted an arrest this week clad in a bikini.
Mikaela Kellner’s day in the Stockholm sun with a friend was rudely interrupted when the pair were ambushed by a homeless man, who swiped Mikaela’s pal’s mobile phone.
Little did he know he was messing with the wrong duo – both are off-duty police officers. The incident, unearthed by an eagle-eyed Reddit user, was Kellner’s first ever bikini arrest.
Kellner explained on Instagram: “A poor homeless guy who you’d have thought would do right for himself. He sells magazines instead of stealing!! When we declined to buy his magazines he takes the opportunity to steal my friends mobile phone!!
“Very skilfully since he slipped down his magazine over the phone and takes it with ease!! Bad luck for him that he tried to steal from two cops!! My first arrest dressed in bikini during my 11 years as a cop!!
“Pretty fun and pleasant I have to say! Look out for pickpockets, keep an eye on your valuables!!”
Mikaela Kellner, you’re our hero!
