Game Of Thrones bosses have released a series of images from season six that will keep fans of the show guessing as to what lies ahead.

Season 5 ended with a massive cliffhanger when Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) appeared to be very much dead following a brutal stabbing. And the new images show no sign of Snow, although many fans of the series are adamant that he will make a return, despite Harrington telling BBC last month that his character is “very much dead”.

One person who also appears to be very much dead is Myrcella Baratheon (Neil Tiger Free) who was poisoned at the end of last season. Meanwhile, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) was left blind and there’s a startling image to prove it.

Another image shows Theon Greyjoy and Sansa Stark – played by Alfie Allen and Sophie Turner – alive  as she helps him out of a frozen river. The last time that the pair were seen, they were mid-air having jumped the walls of Winterfell whilst trying to flee from Ramsay Bolton.

Emilia Clarke’s Deanerys Targaryen is sporting a slightly disheveled appearance, which is understandable given the fact that the last time viewers saw her, she was surrounded by Dothraki.

The images also include Bran standing up while looking into the future and Jaime Lannister bringing his dead niece Myrcella home to Cersei and King Tommen, who are presumably not happy. Lannister is seen transporting her body back on the same boat she sailed to Sunspear on.

There is as yet no sign of Tamar Hassan, the veteran British actor who told Loaded recently that he will be in the new series.
