“I have had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane!” Samuel L. Jackson declares in Snakes On a Plane, a film about…well, you probably know already, right?
Quite how Big Sam – not that one – would have reacted of goings-on on Aeromexico Flight 230 from Torreon to Mexico City, however, is anyone’s guess but chances are it would contain a fair few expletives.
A video, captured by one passenger on board the flight, showcases what anyone who saw Snakes on a Plane has probably feared ever since – namely, that there was a snake on the plane.
Spotted by lecturer Indalecia Medina Hernandez, the rather green looking serpent emerges from the back of the overhead compartment to the accompaniment of shrieks aplenty from the passengers beneath.
La vibora voladora…ja ja ja. Una experiencia única en el Vuelo Torreón-México, vuelo 231 de Aeroméxico. Eso si…Prioridad en aterrizaje. pic.twitter.com/qwDk6Wtszw

You might have thought this snake would be a little one, given that it managed to evade staff and security prior to take-off, but you would be wrong.
In fact, this snake is huge measuring an estimated 5 feet long according to Hernandez, who filmed the entire incident for our enjoyment.
Thankfully and unlike the movie Snakes on a Plane, no one was bitten on the penis, bum, breast or just plain old killed (this all happens in the film) with the flight given a priority landing as a result of the incident.
And as for the snake? He’s probably in some sort of snake prison now. Sorry, loaded meant to say a zoo.
