For any Academy Award nominee who misses out on an Oscar this year, they can console themselves with a considerable runners-up prize.

The contents of this year’s luxury Oscars gift bag have been revealed, and it boasts £160,000 worth of bizarre items for those in the running for the top acting and directing prizes.

Chief of these is a Vampire Breast Lift worth £1,300. The procedure uses the patient’s own blood to achieve a “rounder cleavage without implants”.

According to Distinctive Assets, the marketing firm who put together the bag, this treatment can also help “soften implant scars and irregularities”.

Their description reads: “Using technology used by plastic surgeons for years to help correct post-mastectomy scarring and to heal wounds, the Vampire Breast Lift procedure uses a woman’s own blood to improve appearance.”

It was designed by Charles Runels, the same Dracula-like physician who invented the Vampire Facelift.

Leonardo DiCaprio, who found himself in hot water for vaping at the SAG Awards, will be delighted to learn that the swag bag comes with a state of the art Haze Dual V3 Vaporizer worth £175.

Other luxury gifts on offer from the Distinctive Assets bag include:

  • 10-day, first-class trip to Israel – £38,000
  • A year’s worth of unlimited Audi car rentals from Silvercar – £31,000
  • 15-day walking tour of Japan – £31,000
  • Lifetime supply of skin creams from Lizora – £21,600

The 88th Academy Awards, to be hosted by Chris Rock, take place on February 28 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

DiCaprio’s brutal survival drama The Revenant is leading the nominations with 12, while Mad Max: Fury Road is close behind with ten.

DiCaprio and Room star Brie Larson are hot favourites to take home the top acting prizes, following their recent triumphs at the Golden Globes and SAG Awards.
