Seinfeld finished 18 years ago but it’s still considered a special show among its loyal fans.
The classic sitcom fires up peoples’ imaginations to such an extent that many often wonder what the show would be like if it was still running.
The group consisted of a quartet of everyday New Yorkers – Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld), George (Jason Alexander), Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and Kramer (Michael Richards) – and how their selfishness and narcissism foils them at every turn.
In New York, the events of September 11, 2001 stand are still raw – and one comedy writer has dated to imagine how the Seinfeld gang would’ve reacted to the events.
The script, which was leaked online by the writer-comedian Billy Domineau, is pitch black in its gags and pushes the boundaries of taste. But many fans will be pining for a reunion after reading this twisted take on Jerry’s post 9/11 days.
Speaking about the script, Domineau said: “I was helping someone write a sketch a few months back and told them theirs needed to be an exercise in bad taste, ‘Like imagine if there was a 9/11 episode of Seinfeld… wait a minute.”
