The new dance craze that absolutely everybody is doing

It seems like only yesterday everyone was walking around saying “Damn Daniel” at people’s shoes, content in the knowledge that they had just aped the actions of some unknown American kid.

But now a new online craze is coming to your Twitter, your Facebook, your Reddit and your Instagram and this one involves dancing and generally looking like a bit of a dick.

Dubbed the Running Man Challenge, the premise behind this new online craze is simple enough: people film themselves doing the iconic running man dance to the ’90s hit song “My Boo” by Ghost Town DJ’s.

University basketball players Jaylen Brantley and Jared Nickens were the first to come up with the idea just a few short weeks ago,

But since then the Running Man Challenge has become yet another global craze with almost everybody that owns a smartphone taking part including big names from the world of NBA and NFL.

More bizarrely still, the practice has proven popular with several major police forces across the world – because they clearly don’t have enough.
