Ronda Rousey has taken another significant step away from the Octagon after marrying fellow UFC star Travis Browne at an idyllic ceremony in Hawaii.

The 30-year-old fighter skipped out on the big Floyd Mayweather Jr v Conor McGregor fight to tie the knot and, judging from the photographs shared online by Rousey and those in attendance, a good time was had by all.

Rousey, for her part, made for a stunning bride with her happy wedding day snaps offering a nice contrast to the more anguished images of the one-time UFC icon during her more recent bouts.

The Fast & Furious star started dating Browne, 35, back in 2015. The pair got engaged last April, after Browne popped the question under a waterfall in New Zealand.

Now very much happily married, Rousey could opt to cash-in on her star status and embark on a slightly less demanding media career away from fighting.

Rousey has already signed up to star on ABC’s revival of “Battle of the Network Stars” while she also previously guest starred on the series Blindspot.

There’s also talk of Rousey returning to the world of movies as part of a long gestating project alongside Mark Wahlberg.

She is absolutely perfect!!

A stint as a WWE wrestler also looks a distinct possibility, with Rousey rumoured to be training up for a potential stint in the world of sports entertainment.

One thing that’s not being mentioned, however, is UFC, with Dana White among those who reckon Rousey may have already fought her last bout.

Given the difficulties endured in her last two fights, few could blame her for quitting. Right now though, she should simply be celebrating her nuptials. Congrats, Ronda.
