Ronda Rousey shocked the UFC world when she announced her comeback earlier this year, but her second stint in the sport could be over sooner than we thought.
It was previously announced that ex-UFC champion will fight Amanda Nunes on December 30 in her first bout since being knocked out by Holly Holm more than 12 months ago.
However, the 29-year-old has now announced that the comeback fight at UFC 207 will be ‘one of her last’.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ronda said: “I’m wrapping it up. This is definitely one of my last fights.”
The former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion added: “Everyone better watch! The show isn’t gonna be around forever.”
Speaking about the upcoming fight, Ronda said: “I feel good… I’ve trained twice a day since the beginning of August. So I finally feel like in super ninja good mode.”
Rousey lost her unbeaten record and bantamweight title at UFC 193 in a major upset, and many were expecting to see her face Holm in a rematch or take on the might of Cris “Cyborg” Justino.
Justino recently made it very clear that she isn’t happy about Rousey’s return, saying that “her insecurities robbed the fans the greatest fight of all time”.
