Prankster pop-star Robbie Williams has revealed a ‘nug’ of information regarding a past visit to Buckingham Palace.
Williams has had battles with substance abuse in the past, but his penchant for weed is considerably harmless, the dad of two has a puff now and then in private. He’s mentioned in the media that he uses the herb to relax.
But, back in 2012 he was slated to perform at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert, a nerve-wracking event we’re sure, so he lit up in the Palace, he stated plainly to The Sun when asked about rumours that he’d been sick in HRM’s residence.
Robbie said: “Threw up in Buckingham Palace? No,” before adding: “I smoked a spliff in Buckingham Palace.”
It’s not the first time weed was found at Buckingham. Allegedly, John Lennon admitted that The Beatles got high in the royal bathroom before receiving their MBE’s in 1965.
Another occurrence was back in 2000 when cannabis leaves were found in the palace kitchen after a police raid. Fortunately, it was a small amount.
The Queen apparently, was royally pissed off about this. We’re sure she won’t be happy to hear about Robbie’s recent hijinks in her home either.
