Does anyone remember when Azealia Banks used to be a hip hop star?

The rapper has become better known for her outrageous Twitter rants than her music over recent times, and she’s been involved in another high-profile spat with Rihanna on the social media platform.

Rihanna has been one of the most vocal celebrities to hit out at Donald Trump’s hugely controversial ‘Muslim ban’ recently, which bars citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries entering the US for 90 days.

“Disgusted! The news is devastating! America is being ruined right before our eyes! What an immoral pig you have to be to implement such BS!!” Rihanna wrote after the ban was implemented by Trump.

Taking issue with Rihanna’s post, Azealia Banks posted a scathing reply, which called her “pathetic” and told the Umbrella singer to “shut up and sit down.”

“As far as Rihanna (who isn’t a citizen, and can’t vote) and all the rest of the celebrities who are using their influence to stir up the public, you lot really REALLY need to shut up and sit down. Stop chastising the president. It’s stupid and pathetic to watch,” she wrote in the rambling post, which has since been deleted.

“Hoping the president fails is like getting on an airplane and hoping the pilot crashes,” she added.

Of course, Rihanna responded in the best way possible, and posted a damning clap back on Instagram.

“The face you make when you a immigrant  #stayawayfromthechickens #iheartnuggets #saveourhens,” she wrote.

Rihanna was referring to an interview Banks gave back in 2016, where she revealed that she once kept and even ‘sacrificed’ chickens.

Safe to say, this is one particular Twitter spat Banks won’t be winning…
