Fans of Resident Evil can now experience a real-life version of the terrifying zombie adventure series, thanks to the developer Capcom who is hosting an escape room like jaunt called Resident Evil 7 Experience in London from 20th – 23rd January.
The event is being held to celebrate the new VR game Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, debuting on January 24th.
The real life experience is based on the storyline of this particular game so if you want a heads up, just check out the demo available on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 or VR.
The VR version of the game is reported to be pretty frightening so we can only imagine what putting yourself in the real world will be like.
The rules for the experience are as follows:
You and a friend are the members of a paranormal TV production crew called “The Sewer Gators” and a handful of your team are missing in the derelict Baker family house. In 45 minutes you must avoid the creepy Baker family and solve various puzzles and clues to rescue the missing people.
If you’re looking for a buzz this dry January then from 20th to the 23rd, head to Dray Walk Gallery at 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL.
Starting at 11:30 am they will be giving out free tickets to the lucky 28 pairs who are allowed in that day. Once you’ve been given an allotted time, meet back at the same location thirty minutes before. The adventure runs from 1:00 pm to 9:50pm.
