Forget about Gary Neville’s Sky Sports return, there’s a Countdown reunion on the cards this season.

The Channel 4 show’s resident maths genius Rachel Riley has joined the broadcaster to present Friday Night Football alongside her old Countdown host Jeff Stelling, while also performing hosting duties with Max Rushden and Paul Merson on Fantasy Football Club.

Watch Riley above eloquently explaining her favourite Manchester United chant (yes, she’s a Red Devil)…

“Following Leicester City’s incredible triumph, we all know anything can happen this season…”

Sky’s line-up for 2016/17 boasts 126 live games, including ten on a Friday evening for the first time.

“It’s Sky Sports’ biggest ever Premier League season and our viewers can enjoy the best matches, the best analysis and the best shows,” said Sky’s head of football Gary Hughes.

“Following Leicester City’s incredible triumph, we all know anything can happen this season and Sky Sports viewers can watch all the stories unfold at both ends of the table from next month through to May.”

Other new additions to the Sky team include David James presenting on Super Sunday and Monday Night Football, Simon Thomas hosting lunchtime games and Hayley McQueen overseeing Saturday night’s Game of the Day.
