People are Sharing Their Text Exchanges With Real Exes And It’s Hilarious

Some of their responses are absolutely brilliant.

Breaking up with someone can be tricky at the best of times but the entire process is made that much harder when one of the parties involved refuses to let go.

Feelings linger, regrets remain and the heartache is palpable but, at this point, the only real course of action is to try and move on.

It never quite works out that way though and, in this era of instant digital communications, it doesn’t take much for someone to receive an unwanted and often extremely awkward text from an ex.

In these instances, the best course of action is also the most unpleasant: you have got to be brutal, otherwise the other person will never get the message.

Or at least that seems to be the message gleaned from some of the responses shared on the viral Instagram account textsfromyourex.

The premise is simple: people share some of the terrible messages they have received from exes in the past and their sharp responses to them. Here are 9 of our personal favourites for you to take a look at – who knows? You might just learn something.
