You might not have realised it, but June 21 is officially Yoga Day.

The taxing discipline of contorting your body into various bone-cracking shapes and poses may look like agony, but in reality it’s good for your physical, mental and spiritual health.

If you’re still not convinced, then maybe it’s time you sought out Rosie Rees.

“It was the first time in their life they made love after three hours of naked yoga.”

The Australian is pioneering nude yoga workshops Down Under to help pupils shed their inhibitions.

The three-hour workshops cost between $59-$89 (£30-£45) per-person and aim to give those who take part “courage and self acceptance”.

“It’s a powerful act in letting go of our acquired armour, masks, emotional baggage, shame, insecurities and inhibitions that we gather from needing to protect ourselves and keep up with our busy, masculine world,” the description for Nude Yoga With Rosie continues.

At the moment these sessions are women only, but Rees and her other half run classes for partners.

Speaking to ABC, she admitted that these sessions have occasionally resulted in an uptick in bedroom activity.

“We had a couple who told us they conceived a baby when they came to nude yoga, because it was the first time in their life they made love after three hours of naked yoga,” she said.

“It goes to show how life-changing nude yoga can be.”

Here’s to a happy Yoga Day!
