She’s spent five years filming for The Hunger Games and X-Men trilogies, so she’d be forgiven for taking a long break. But Jennifer Lawrence has no plans on slowing down.

The actress signed up for the blockbusters when she was just 20, and has managed to squeeze hits including Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle in between.

Now free of franchise responsibilities, Lawrence is ready to take on even more roles.

“It’s crazy,” says Lawrence. “I remember being like “Oh my God, I’m going to be 25 when I’m finished. It seemed so far away. It’s weird to think I have to start working with directors who aren’t David O’Russell and Frances Lawrence.”

Lawrence isn’t quite ready to give up on yet, having just teamed up with him for Joy, following the end of The Hunger Games.

“David and I will never ever ever not do movies together,” Lawrence told Entertainment Weekly. “I love him so much that sometimes I can’t talk about him without tearing up.”

But Lawrence is keen to slow down a little and get back to acting in smaller movies too, as well as starting to write scripts.

“I’d like to write some stuff that I’m not acting in,” she revealed. “I want to get back to acting in small dark stuff and indies. I’d also like to direct a comedy.”

Allthough she has a circle of confidantes she trusts in Hollywood, Lawrence also stressed that, if you mess her around, she has a strict dumping policy.

“I have a very small circle,” she said. “The moment I feel like someone is using me or is in it for the wrong reasons, I have zero guilt about just cutting them the fuck out of my life.

“My bullshit detector is phenomenal. None of my friends bullshit me. Everything in my life has to be real.”
