A news reporter in the US is facing some tough questions after it was revealed that he was arrested earlier this week for defecating in the front yard of a random house.
Jonathan Lowe was a regular on US channel KPHO/KTVK prior to the incident, but his future on the station has been thrown into serious doubt after a police report came to light detailing an incident involving his poo and the front lawn of a home in Goodyear, Arizona.
Lowe was covering a story in the town when the bizarre incident occurred.
According to the police report, obtained by AZFamily.com, the Phoenix-based reporter was spotted by the owner of the house in question collecting up papers outside the property – for wiping or reading, we don’t know – before appearing to lean against the side of the house and empty his bowels.
After the homeowner called the police, the cops eventually tracked down Lowe to his home, where he offered a full and frank confession that was recorded in the report.
“I know what you want to talk to me about,” he said.
“I’ve been feeling very sick and I’ve been stuck in this van all day. Those people who called on me just wanted to start problems.”
The police were having none of it though with Lowe arrested for public defecation.
He now faces a fine of up to $2,500 or, worse still, six months in jail, as per the Phoenix New Times.
And with several news sources claiming the reporter has also lost his job with KPHO/KTVK, it’s turning into a pretty shitty week all round for Jonathan Lowe.
