Mayweather vs. McGregor: A Trash-talking Timeline

The fight to end all fights is happening on August 26th of this year, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor are going to battle it out in the ring, combining their two distinctive abilities and over the top personalities into what is sure to be an explosive event.

After almost two years of constant to and fro, a deal has been made, and it is set to make both men very, very wealthy, with each aiming to take home around £78 million.

Conor appeared on American TV show Conan O’Brien and said this about a possible fight:
“If you’re asking would I like to fight Floyd Mayweather, I mean, who would not like to dance around the ring for £140m?”

Mayweather mentioned McGregor during an interview with FightHype.com
“They say he talk a lot of trash and people praise him for it, but when I did it, they say I’m cocky and arrogant,” Mayweather observed. “So biased!
