This Is The Point Masturbation Becomes Bad For Your Health

In celebration of National Masturbation Month, we have a very important question.

Since it’s National Masturbation Month, we have one burning question – how many wanks is too many?

At what point does excessive masturbation become bad for your health? Of course, moderation is key but is there a limit per week or even day? In extreme circumstances, individuals have DIED from masturbating too much.

One example is the tragic story of a 19-year-old boy in the USA who passed away as a result of a cardiac arrest after masturbating 55 times in 24 hours on one very lonely Valentines Day. Worse yet, his penis was found detached in his hand.

However, there are many helpful forums throughout the WebSphere that tackle this very topic. One such place is Yahoo! Answers, which is bringing the problem to the attention of the internet.

One user posed this question – ‘How many wanks can you have in a 24hr period before it becomes unhealthy?’

A volunteer answered that simply seven times a day was the tipping point, while another broke it down into a science.

“Having a little tug is not weird or abnormal. You should masturbate every day unless you’re getting sex. It’s Healthy! Anything over 50 wanks a day is plain silly though. You might find you go through patches, e.g.,…. 5 wanks in an hour then one then nothing then seven wanks, etc.. Everyone’s body is different. Ok I’m going for one now, so catch ya later,” said thewozman.

The medical community seems to concur. “There’s nothing unhealthy or problematic with masturbating, but if it becomes detrimental to your life, then you need to treat it like you would any other harmful habit,” Dan Drake, a certified sex addiction therapist and clinical counsellor told Men’s Health.

If it does become too much, there is a forum up on Reddit right now for porn and wank addicts, called Porn Free. Check it out here.

However, if you’re in control then give yourself a hand to celebrate.
