Marvin Humes takes us behind the scenes on LuvBug’s latest video

The Best Is Yet to Come has all the hallmarks of a sun-kissed summer club anthem.

Don't Bug me Marvin Humes weighs up his Voice future.

Marvin Humes gave Loaded an exclusive look behind the scenes of LuvBug’s latest music video this month as the JLS favourite continues his evolution from boy band star to electronic dance dynamo.

Not content with trying his hand at a bit of presenting in recent times, Humes also has a sideline DJing and producing as part of the dance music collective LuvBug.

With two top 20 singles already under their belts, the group have returned with Best Is Yet To Come, a song that holds particular meaning for Humes.

“A lot of people can relate to it, and without being too clichéd, the lyrics have a positive message for life in general. It’s uplifting,” he tells Loaded.

“I’ve been in a successful band, but it’s good to think my best is yet to come. I guess, subliminally the message is there that LuvBug’s best is yet to come.”

You can take a look at our sneak peek behind the scenes here:

Featuring vocals from Scouting for Girls, the song is one that comes heavily influenced by Humes recent experiences as a DJ on the UK and Ibiza club scenes.

The former X Factor star is set for a busy couple of months with as many as 18 DJ tour dates booked across the country as he looked to put LuvBug on the map.

Moreover, with Humes claiming to have recorded up to 200 songs, finished and unfinished, we probably have not heard the last from Rochelle’s other half just yet.

LuvBug’s single Best Is Yet To Come is out this Friday and can be pre-ordered now.
