Margot Robbie is going to be very busy over the next few years.

After her star-making turn in Suicide Squad, the Aussie actress has been signed up to a tonne of big movies. In the pipeline is an assassination thriller, a pair of sports movies and a spin-off solo flick for her cackling DC Comics scene-stealer Harley Quinn.

Need to get up to speed? Here are the ten Margot Robbie movies in the pipeline, with release dates included where available.

Terminal (2016)

No, this isn’t a remake of that Tom Hanks film. Instead, it’s an assassination thriller about a pair of killers embarking on a perilous mission. Co-starring Simon Pegg and Mike Myers (in his first live-action film since Inglourious Basterds), this one promises to set pulses racing when it arrives in 2016.

AA Milne biopic (2017)

Could this put Margot in the Oscar race? A lavish period drama about the life of Winnie the Pooh creator AA Milne (Domhnall Gleeson), this casts the Australian star as Milne’s wife Daphne. Expect this to be a deeply moving one, as Milne finds inspiration for his iconic character from young son Robin. This is arriving in cinemas in 2017.

Larrikins (2018)

An animated film due for release on February 16, 2018, Margot takes on the role of a dingo in an Aussie adventure movie about a bilby escaping from his family burrow and travelling across the outback. Finally, a chance for Margot to use her real accent on screen.

Peter Rabbit (2018)

Remember Beatrix Potter’s children’s tale about a rabbit busting into a farmer’s vegetable garden? That’s getting the family movie treatment with Margot, Daisy Ridley and Rose Byrne lending their voices. James Corden is voicing the titular rabbit, while Margot’s AA Milne co-star Gleeson is playing Mr McGregor. This one has a release date of March 2018.

Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn solo spin-off movie

The one Margot’s fans are all excited for. As bad as Suicide Squad was, her Harley Quinn generated a fair amount of positive headlines so cinemagoers are hungry for more. Margot is producing this, with Christina Hodson writing the script. Expect the DC Comics heroines Birds of Prey (Black Canary, Barbara Gordon, Huntress) to make an appearance, and a release date of November 1, 2019 has already been touted.

Bad Monkeys

An acton-crime thriller based on a novel from Matt Ruff, Margot will play Jane Charlotte, a woman sent to a psychiatric ward ofter confessing to murder and claiming to be part of a covert organisation. So far so Harley Quinn, but things will take on a darker twist as she goes through extreme tests to find out if she’s lying or just crazy.

Beautiful Things

Another book adaptation, this thriller will be produced by Margot via Warner Bros and its plotline is a corker: a mother and her son get trapped in a zoo with a gunman on the rampage. Yes, this basically sounds like Die Hard… with animals!

Dangerous Odds

Marisa Lankester’s true-life account of her journey into the world of illegal sports betting and corruption sparked a bidding war among Hollywood heavyweights – and you guessed it, Margot snapped up the rights. After falling for shady betting Godfather Ron “The Cigar” Sacco, Marisa faced incarceration and sexual assault before finally escaping. We reckon this one will be harrowing.

I, Tonya

Disgraced ice skater Tonya Harding hit the headlines at the 1994 Olympics games when she got her husband to hire thugs to break the legs of her arch rival Nancy Kerrigan. An explosive sporting tabloid story, Harding was eventually stripped of medals and banned for life. This is a seriously meaty role for Margot to get her teeth into.

Queen of the Air

The tragic story of trapeze artist Lillian Leitzel and her affair with Alfredo Codona, these two sports stars were an explosive couple who were basically the Liz Taylor and Richard Burton of mid-air somersaults. Leitzel was 4 ft 9 in tall and her signature move required her to dislocate her shoulder at every turn. Best hope Margot doesn’t go method!
