Lindsay Lohan is still only 30, but her career has already seen more ups and downs than most stars see in a lifetime.
After bursting onto the scene with roles in Mean Girls, Freaky Friday and Herbie Fully Loaded in the early 00s, the actress fell on tough times.
Stints in rehab for alcoholism and drug addiction followed, and while she’s back on the up, her career has yet to fully recover. That could all be about to change though…
Lindsay has been revealed as the host of a new ‘social media prank show’, and it could be the boost that the actress needs to get back to the top.
The Anti-Social Network will see Lindsay hijack contestants social media pages, and challenge them to undertake a series of tasks, or risk having their Facebook pages compromised forever.

Lindsay says in the clip: “I love social media. I am social media. Everybody knows you should never leave your phone lying around, especially near me.
“So, I’ve decided I’m going to hijack your social media — your Instagram, your Snapchat, your Facebook, your Twitter, all of it — for 24 hours. If you can pull off three challenges, you’ll win some fabulous prizes,” she added.
The stage is set for a major comeback. After all, prank shows have boosted actor’s careers before, remember? Ashton Kutcher made himself a household name with Punk’d after all. If he can do it, so can Lindsay.
Lindsay recent stated her drive to get back to the top of her game too, telling Fox News: I am more ready than ever to get back into movies and TV. It is a true passion of mine and has been since I was a child. It is not about the limelight… it’s about doing what you love.”
Who knows, maybe the show will be lead to major movie roles sooner than we thought – Lindsay did say she wants to play the Little Mermaid in the upcoming Disney Reboot after all…
If Lohan’s new show is a success, we could soon see her career on an upward trajectory once again. loaded certainly hopes so.
