Kylie Jenner has waved away all her insecurities in a stunning new topless shoot for Complex.

The youngest member of the Kardashian clan opened up for the first time about getting lip fillers, and what prompted the decision to get cosmetic work done.

The model and reality TV star admitted that the fear that her lips were too thin – and the reaction boys in middle school had to them – made get her first filler injection at the age of 16.

“This guy I kissed was like, ‘Your lips are really small but you’re a really good kisser. I didn’t think you were gonna be good at kissing,’” she said.

“It was so rude. From then on, I just felt like I saw guys staring at my lips. I felt like no one wanted to kiss me.”

Jenner said that she initially denied having filler injections for fear of influencing her young fans – a decision she regrets in hindsight.

“I didn’t want people to think you had to get your lips done to feel good about yourself. But they thought it was crazier that I was lying about it because it was so obvious,” she explained. “I wish I had just been honest and upfront.”

Jenner’s striking Complex cover shoot was photographed by her regular collaborator Sasha Samsonova. Those funky illustrations come from Japanese pop culture artist Takashi Murakami.

Jenner recently hit the headlines after confronting a Twitter troll who described her as “a 14-year-old prostitute”.

Her quick-witted tweeted response gained her an impressive 100,000 retweets and replies like “i fucking love u oh my god” and “Kylie LOL”.

Nicely done, Kylie!
