Japan has long been established as the spiritual home of karaoke, with the Far East nation positively fanatical when it comes to singing along to their favourite pop hits.
However, there’s a new craze emerging in Japan for a very different kind of karaoke machine which, if brought over to Europe, could have blokes lining up to belt out a tune.
According to Rocket News 24, there’s a very different type of karaoke parlour emerging on the scene with some very special rewards for anyone with the right vocal range.
The brainchild of Joysound fR, on first glance this karaoke machine appears like any other.
But it’s only on completion of your chosen song that the real fun begins, with any fine singers out there seemingly rewarded with a picture of a naked lady.
That’s right, a lady completely in the buff and there to say “well done” in the weirdest way possible.
Will the craze catch on? It’s unclear, but a tweet promoting this seedy innovation has been doing well online.

Of course, it’s probably worth pointing out that it’s not all sunshine and lollipops.
Do a dodgy rendition of a karaoke classic, for example, and rather than be rewarded with lots of naked ladies, you’ll be punished with pictures of scantily clad men.
So before you even attempt a song on this baby, make sure your vocal range is warmed up.
Altogether now “la, la, la, la, la, la, la….”
