Jessica Alba has scaled back on movie roles in recent years to focus on her consumer products and beauty firm The Honest Company.
The move’s paid off, because the former Fantastic Four star is reportedly on the verge of selling up to Unilever for a hefty $1 billion.
Alba is still hot property when it comes to magazine shoots, however, and in her latest feature for Shape mag she’s been preaching healthy living and the importance of hitting the gym.
“I love my shape because it allows me to do the things, most of the time, that I want to do,” she said in the behind-the-scenes video accompanying the shoot.
“Being healthy overall is thinking about yourself and trying to take care of your body. I always feel like I am on the go like most people, and I find that if I get some type of workout in a couple of times a week it really does help.”
The Honest Company is all about supplying households with non-toxic products for ethical consumerism. So not only is Alba about to make a huge chunk of change, she’s done it by improving the lifestyle of her customer base.
Bravo, Jessica. Bravo!
