Jennifer Lawrence has warned fans that her latest film, Red Sparrow, contains scenes of a sexual nature that some may find offensive. Or something like that, anyway.

Speaking in an interview with Bill Whitaker on 60 Minutes, the 27-year-old actress admitted that her new espionage thriller may not be the best pick for anyone offended by the sight of “boobs”.

That’s not even a sleazy lie or anything. She actually said that. In a proper interview and everything.

There was some context to the warning of course; Lawrence was explaining how getting her kit off to play the role of Russian star Dominika Egorova had given her a new lease of life in front of the camera.

Lawrence was one of several celebrities to fall victim to the ‘Frappening’, when a glut of indecent images, hacked from famous folks’ phone, were leaked online.

But she has moved on from the incident and is happy to be back in control of what she does with her body.

“I feel like something that was taken from me, I got back, and am using in my art,” she said.
“It’s my body and it’s my art and it’s my choice.

“And if you don’t like boobs, you should not go see Red Sparrow.”

She added: “The fact that somebody can be sexually exploited and violated, and the first thought that crosses somebody’s mind is to make a profit from it.

“It’s so beyond me.

“I just can’t imagine being that detached from humanity. I can’t imagine being that thoughtless and careless and so empty inside.”

As many as 500 compromising images of celebrities were leaked onto 4chan during the incident, including many involving the Oscar winner.

In October 2016,36-year-old Ryan Collins of Lancaster, Pennsylvania pled guilty to one count of unauthorised access to a protected computer to obtain information, resulting in a 18-month sentence.
