Jay-Z Racked Up An Insane Bar Tab During A Night Out In New York

It turns out Jay-Z is still "Big Pimpin'" when he hits the town.

Beyonce and Jay-Z.

With a personal fortune estimated to be in the region of some $810 million, it’s fair to say Jay-Z isn’t short of a bob or two.

But even by the rapper and business mogul’s usual high standards, the bar tab he racked up during a recent night on the town takes some beating.

Jay-Z was evidently in generous mood during the recent birthday celebrations for his buddy and fellow business man Juan “OG” Perez.

Perez is the president of Roc Nation Sports, one of Jay-Z’s brands and it would appear that the rapper was keen to show his appreciation for his business associate in the most lavish way possible.

The pair were part of a group partying at the Playroom, a swanky Manhattan Nightclub famous for its Ace of Spades Champagne.

This is no ordinary bottle of fizz, with Ace of Spades Champagne selling at over £2,200 a pop. Then again, Jay-Z is no ordinary rapper, so it’s hardly a surprise to see him push the boat out.

According to a report from Page Six, he didn’t just push the boat out, he took the whole gang on a veritable booze cruise, paying for 40 bottles of the pricey champagne.

That order came to a whopping $91,135 – but Jay wasn’t done there. In an act of some notable generosity, he included an $11,000 tip on top of that.

All this and it was reported that Jay-Z had earlier paid $13,000 for the whole group to enjoy a meal at a Japanese restaurant in the city as well as further $9,000 on drinks at another bar.

Proof of the astonishing bar bill was shared on Twitter and only further highlighted the lavish lifestyle and surprising generosity of the hip-hop mogul.

All this and he’s married to Beyonce. Jay-Z is living the dream and we wish he was our friend. Nights out would be incredible and also a lot cheaper.
