Jason Statham is one of the hardest actors in Hollywood, that’s just a fact.
He’s appeared in some of the most high-octane action movies of recent times, and he also happens to be one of the most ripped actors in the game too.
Now, he’s revealed all about his gruelling workout routine, which keeps him in incredible shape at the age of 49.
The action hero has spoken about how he trained in a California prison to get in incredible shape for his 2014 movie Death Race.
Statham looked ripped as hell in the film, and he’s now revealed his insane training schedule with Men’s Fitness.
Speaking about his experiences, he said: “They had banned weights from the prison yard.”
“They didn’t have the big, fat machines you have in the typical gym. These guys were using their own bodies for lifts, pullups, situps, and squats.”
The Expendables star added: “They employed full-body-weight exercises and old-school gym techniques that seemed to work wonders.”
Statham also revealed that he keeps his physique by working out six days a week his trainer Logan Hood, an ex-Navy SEAL.
“We never do the same thing twice,” Statham explained about his workout.
“We mix it up. You know how you know a good workout? When right before you do it, you’re like, ‘Oh, fuck, that’s gonna kill.’ Because you can’t hide in this gym. You can’t hide from what’s ahead of you.”
Being a Hollywood badass don’t come easy, but Statham has to be up there with the hardest trainers in the movie industry.
