Love them of loathe them, the Kardashians have emerged as the most powerful family in showbusiness over the last ten years, and they’re the undisputed queens of social media.
Kim, Kourtney and Khloé, as well as younger sister Kendall and Kylie Jenner, are ridiculously popular online, and all of them boast tens of millions of Instagram followers.
Now, it’s been revealed just how much the sisters get paid per Instagram post, and it’s going to make you really, really angry…
Michael Heller, whose digital marketing firm Talent Resources works closely with the family, told US Weekly that some companies have paid upwards of $500,000 to post on Kim Kardashian’s page.
Kim, who boasts 95.4m followers on the platform, is paid slightly more than Kourtney and Khloé, who with 64.1 million and 54.3 million followers respectively can command up to $250,000 a post.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner are slightly more popular, and their 76.4 million and 89.1 million followers mean they can charge around $400,000 per post.
All of the Kardashian clan posting regular ads like the one above, which means they must be raking in huge amounts through the site every year.
Whatever you make of the power family, and whether the news makes you angry or not, it’s undeniably impressive.
After all, we’d love someone to pay us $500,000 for posting on Instagram – we just need to find an investor who’ll sponsor our rubbish pictures of dogs and food and we’ll be golden.
