Video: Movie icons unite in incredible Hell’s Club mash-up

At long last a movie that has James Bond, Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson and the Alien xenomorphs together on screen.

“There is a place where fictional characters meet. Outside of time. Outside of all logic. This place is known as… Hell’s Club Another Night.”

So reads the opening crawl for the latest video from editor Antonio Maria Da Silva. The filmmaker may not be as famous as Spielberg or Scorsese, but last year his Hell’s Club video put him on the map after going viral and racking up more than 5.5 million views.

Now he’s made a sequel, and it’s already on the way to matching the success of the first instalment. For the uninitiated, Hell’s Club is created by Da Silva painstakingly going through classic movies and rotoscoping scenes to blend them all together into a seamless mash-up.

Both Hell’s Club videos follow a similar trajectory – bring a host of screen characters you know and love under one nightclub roof and turn it into a bloodbath by the end.

Hell’s Club Another Night even begins with a nod to its predecessor. Al Pacino’s Tony Montana and John Travolta’s Tony Manero gaze over pictures of Carlito Brigante Pulp Fiction’s Vincent Vega – two characters who bit the dust in the last video.

In this Hell’s Club everyone from Harrison Ford’s Blade Runner character Rick Deckard to RoboCop and Terminator show up. There’s even a neat exchange between four different James Bonds in Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan.

If you’re a fan of Ridley Scott’s sci-fi horror classic Alien, best stick around to the very (messy) end.

Da Silva has admitted that he’s working on a third instalment in his series with the title Hell’s Club Ode To Joy. As a tease for that film Da Silva told a fan in the YouTube comments that he’ll try to throw Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Tim Curry from Rocky Horror Picture Show into the mix.
