Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is fast approaching its May 5th release date and the excitement is palpable. And what makes this news even better is the report of the results from a recent, ‘family and friends’ screening held by Marvel Studios.
It’s not as casual as it sounds, this process has been used by the studio since the first Iron Man film. It involves a large pool of people carefully vetted and selected by Marvel, reported The Hollywood Reporter.
For the first time in the history of the studio, Guardian’s of the Galaxy Vol. 2 got a perfect 100.
While this isn’t a firm prediction of how it will perform out in the world this spring, it’s still a strong sign we are in for some serious entertainment.
Honestly, we’re sure baby Groot is carrying this film on his teeny tree shoulders.
