Gigi Hadid must be one of the busiest models in the industry if the number of high profile shoots she has appeared in lately is anything to go by.
Fresh from her nude French Vogue cover which hit the shelves just last week, Gigi has been snapped for Sports Illustrated.
The 20-year-old, who is going out with former One Direction star Zayn Malik, posed in a variety of swimsuits for the 2016 Swimsuit issue of the magazine, which will be available on newsstands from Monday.
In case you are still actually reading this article as opposed to going through the gallery, Gigi was flown to the island of Tahiti for the shoots, which were captured by photographer Yu Tsai.
Gigi, naturally, is thrilled to have landed the shoot, admitting: “It’s my third year doing Sports Illustrated. When I got the call this year that I was shooting with Yu Tsai, in Tahiti, it was just perfect, there was nothing else I could ask for.
“For Sports Illustrated, what’s great is they love you the way you are. They pick you for who you are. They don’t ask you to change,”
Model Gigi admitted the first person she called after seeing the photos was boyfriend Zayn Malik, and told Entertainment Tonight: “I texted my special some one, I always get excited about the pictures…”
“He obviously liked the pictures.”
We bet he was thrilled.
Gigi also praised pal Taylor Swift following her win at the Grammys earlier this week, saying: “I was at an event with Karlie Kloss, who is also one of Taylor’s best friends, when we found out. So we sent her a little video of us and said, ‘Celebrating for you! We wish we could be there!'”
She continued, “But we weren’t surprised that she won. She’s so talented, so hard working and so great to her fans. I think that she really, really deserved it, and we’re so proud.”
