Germany’s answer to Love Island puts Britain to shame

ITV2 frequently found itself in hot water over the summer thanks to Love Island, the reality series that encourages its contestants to hook up (cameras be damned!).

Miss Great Britain Zara Holland was stripped of her title after getting it on with fellow contestant Alex Bowen and sex between Emma-Jane Woodham and Terry Walsh – shown dangerously close to the 9pm watershed – prompted complaints to regulator Ofcom.

But Britain’s answer to the sun-drenched shag-a-thon reality TV concept is pretty tame when measured next to Germany’s version.

As reported by The Mirror, contestants on the German Love Island are required to spend the entire day completely naked.

Whether it be massages, tasks or just a bit of fondling, everything is done in the buff.

Titled Adam Zkt Eve (translated as Adam Seeks Eve), this particular spin on the Love Island format originated on a TV programme from the Netherlands.

Filmed on the island of Tikehau, part of the Tuamotu Archipelago in French Polynesia, it certainly provides an exotic backdrop for some X-rated shenanigans.

When it comes to a lack of inhibitions, it seems the Dutch (and subsequently Germans) are the masters.
