(Warning: Spoilers are coming…) We’ve had some absolute dicks on Game Of Thrones down the years, haven’t we?
First, that little shit Joffrey Baratheon was the guy we loved to hate, and then Ramsay Bolton took things to whole new levels of bell-end behavior.
However, ever since Ramsay met a grizzly end of season six, Westeros has been without a real lead villain. Things are all about to change in season seven though…
Actor Pilou Asbæk has spoken about his villain character Euron Greyjoy, saying that both and Joffrey and Ramsay will pale in comparison when he returns next season.
“The psychos I’ve encountered have so many different sides to them. So each scene I’ve done with Euron, I pick a new thing I wanna show: ‘This scene I want to be charming.’ ‘This scene I wanna be a molester.’ ‘This scene I wanna kill someone,’” he told Empire magazine.
“After this season, Ramsay’s gonna look like a little kid,” he added – worrying words indeed.
We first saw Euron briefly at the end of season 6, when he came out of nowhere to kill his brother Balon and take the Salt Throne for himself, before setting his sights on King’s Landing.
However, he could find his aspirations of seizing the iron throne pretty tricky: as fans will remember, he called for his people to build a vast fleet of ships.
The only problem is, they live on an island which doesn’t appear to contain any trees… how’s he going to get around that one?
We’ll have to wait until Game Of Thrones season seven airs on July 16 to find out more.
