Game of Thrones’ seventh season looks set to be the most explosive yet, after two HUGE characters were spotted filming together.

Rumours of a possible alliance between fan favourites Jon Snow and Daenerys Targareyen have been spreading like wildfire recently, and now Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke have been caught on camera together.

The photos, which has been shared by fan site Watchers on the Wall, show Kit and Emilia shooting a sequence in Santiponce near Seville in Spain

As Thrones devotees will know, a popular fan theory claims that George RR Martin’s series A Song of Ice and Fire refers to a union between the two characters.

Hints in season six led fans to speculate that Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen would join forces to battle Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) in season seven, before taking on the fearsome white walkers in season eight.

It was also previously suggested that the pair will soon encounter one another in Dragonpit – a location based near King’s Landing in the books, the area is also notable for being the place where the Targaryens used to house their dragons.

Show insiders have reportedly suggested that this location will be the meeting point between Daenerys and Jon Snow’s allies, Ser Davos and Brienne of Tarth.

We’ll have to wait until 2017 to find out, but the new image strongly suggests that the theory could ring true.
